EXECUTIVE SEARCH PROCESS

The most successful executive search is the result of teamwork with our clients.  WBA assigns a Senior Consultant to each search who will work directly with our client in a collaborative, frank, and open manner by sharing information, reactions, and expectations.

EVALUATION:
Wells, Bradley & Associates begin each assignment by conferring with the client.  This meeting determines the specifications of the position, the job requirements, the goals and objectives of the position, and the desired personality traits.  Discussions of the client's management style, sales culture, management needs, and the direction of the company will also help clarify the assignment.

RESEARCH:
The first step in initiating a search is in WBA's research department.  A "file search" reviews our database of potential candidates with backgrounds that fit the client's job specifications.  Then we consult our source lists, which are compilations of individuals who are currently performing precisely the specified job.  Other sources include a vast listing of contacts, industry experts, published materials, and various sources on the Internet.  WBA’s job specifications are shared on-line with over 40 affiliate offices.  All qualified candidates are sent directly to WBA for further screening.

IDENTIFICATION:
The above research will reveal a number of possible candidates.  Generally, the most attractive candidates are not actively seeking employment; therefore, WBA uses a direct approach in contacting the most promising candidates.

RECRUITMENT:
Wells, Bradley & Associates conduct in-depth telephone interviews with the most qualified candidates.  Crucial information on management style, qualifications, accomplishments, education, motivation, personal characteristics, level of interest, and the likelihood of a "fit" with our client is carefully and objectively measured.

RECOMMENDATION:
WBA will present the most qualified candidates to the client.  In addition to their resumes more in-depth information about their professional experience, accomplishments, and education will be included.

SELECTION:
Wells, Bradley & Associates will assist our clients in setting up interviews in a timely manner.  Immediately following the interview WBA will debrief the candidate and the client.  At the request of the client, we will check references and verify any pertinent information of the finalist.

OFFER:
Final selection of the candidate and offer of employment are always made by the client management.  However, WBA will assist the client in determining the level of compensation, benefit package, and contract terms before extending the offer.

ACCEPTANCE:
Wells, Bradley & Associates monitors the acceptance and the resignation process ensuring a smooth transition for both the client and the candidate.
